The Flobuds campaign was the launch of a lifestyle range of earbuds from Wings, a gaming accessories brand.

The Brief

The Flobuds range was Wings' entry into the lifestyle audio accessories zone and in effect had to be complete rebranding of Wings' also, given their strong roots and recognition as the go to gaming audio brand. The Flobuds range had to be given a separate visual identity in order to differentiate from Wings' gaming options. The launch also needed the other usual suspects of the Pre-Hype campaign, The Brand Film, PR, etc.

The Aamras Treatment

The introduction of the lifestyle range was pivotal as the series introduced Wings to a much bigger audience. The name of the range was our first crack in the case, "Flobuds". It had a soft vibe to it, short and made sense for an audio range. The next thing on the board that we finalised was a clean visual palette that used soft pastel colours to stray away from the neons of the gaming products. We came up with the messaging and idea for the brand film which was the final piece of the puzzle. The pre hype and launch campaign on socials fell into place quickly and the Flobuds campaign went as smooth as it could.
